Home sick

Being as my lovely little babies got me sick this week, I am at home being a bum. So I decided I would start another blog about my life. I will still use this one to show off my mediocre photography skills but the other one is more an update of the happenings in my life. Enjoy!

Baby Bodkin's Shower

My best friend from High School, Lindsay, is having a baby in May. Her husband and her live in Japan, so while she was in town for the Holidays her family threw her a baby shower. Mom and i drove like maniacs from Utah so that we could make it in time. So I obviously didnt take all of these but I wanted to share. Her husband and her are very evil and decided they are waiting to find out the gender of the baby. It was very difficult finding a gift so I decided to make her a blanket. This blanket was the very first thing I have made, EVER! (well beside like a pillowcase of something!) It was so fun catching up with friends and seeing my dear Lindsay pregers!!!

What do you think???

My little green ninja turtle/shepard!

I can not believe I forgot to include these pictures of Jacek from Christmas Eve. He has totally stolen my heart. I can only hope one day I have a son this cute!

LOVE LOVE LOVE HIM!!!!

Christmas Eve

With Erik and Meg out of town, we spent Chritmas eve with the Budge Family. Since they are my adopted nieces and nephews and Mom thinks of them as her Grandchildren it was a perfect way to spend the night. It was full of choas, songs, tears, food, and a wonderful version of the Christmas story.
Sadly earlier that day when all the kids were jumping off the couch into a pile of pillows, little ciel jumped and landed funny on her elbow. A piece broke off and she had to spend the day in the hospital. She made it home just in time for dinner (she got a special happy meal from McD, all of us were jealous!). She kept crying and saying "bandaid off!" It was heartbreaking. But she was a champ!!! She had to have surgery later in the week and they put in 3 pins. What a brave little 3 year old!

Now i have to say, getting dressed for "the Christmas story" was the most entertaining part. Everyone looked adorable of course and did a fantastic job in their parts.

Such a special night with an adorable family! Thanks for making us a part of the Budge family
